DUI driver who killed woman in crash freed after latest wreck
Seven years ago a drunken Citronelle man killed a woman in a head on collision. He was sentenced to 15 years but only served one year before being allowed out on probation. In 2014, the same man was arrested after driving under the influence. He was not sent back to prison.
On Friday, Nicholas Williams Driver, 38, sent an entire family to hospital during another motor vehicle accident. After getting out of hospital Tuesday, Driver was allowed to go home.
The pregnant mother driving the other vehicle who forced to have an emergency C-section, according to an NBC 15 report.
Investigators believe he was under the influence of alcohol during this most recent head on collision, according to police. His toxicology reports are no yet complete.
